By accessing, browsing or otherwise using SoundsMp3, you confirm that you have read these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree with any part of them, please stop using the website.

SoundsMp3 is an online platform for discovering, previewing and downloading audio content, including sound effects and ringtones. The website organises audio into categories, plays clips in the browser, and serves files for download in MP3 format.

Some recordings are stored on SoundsMp3 servers. Others are hosted on external archive services and are streamed or downloaded from there. In either case, the appearance of an item on the website does not by itself transfer ownership of the underlying recording.

You may use SoundsMp3 for lawful personal and professional purposes. You agree not to:

• use the website in any way that breaks applicable law or the rights of others;
• attempt to disrupt, overload or degrade the service or its hosting infrastructure;
• interfere with the security of the website, or scan, probe or test it without our written permission;
• bypass, disable or circumvent any technical restriction or access control;
• use automated tools, scrapers, crawlers or bots in a way that places an unreasonable load on the service or breaches restrictions published by the site operator;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, servers or data;
• upload or submit material that you do not have the right to distribute, wherever the website provides a way to do so;
• infringe the intellectual-property rights of others.

Content available through SoundsMp3 falls into a few categories, and each is treated differently:

• Audio files and cover images. The recordings, titles and artwork associated with each catalogue entry. Rights in these files remain with their respective owners. Listing an item does not transfer copyright.
• Operational content. Category names, page text, metadata and the visual design of the website, prepared by the site operator.
• Third-party content. Recordings stored on external services, which the website links to or plays from their original host.
• External links. Third-party websites reached through the sharing buttons and other outbound links on the website.

SoundsMp3 does not claim ownership of audio files it did not create. When an item is removed, access to it may end without notice.

Copyright and other intellectual-property rights in the audio files, cover images and titles available through SoundsMp3 remain with their respective owners. Unless a specific item states otherwise, no rights are transferred to you by viewing, previewing or downloading it.

The design, layout, code, branding and written text of the website are protected as well, and may not be copied or reused without permission.

If you believe that material available through SoundsMp3 infringes your copyright, follow the instructions on our DMCA / Copyright page. Notices submitted there are reviewed and acted on in accordance with applicable law.

Downloading an audio file gives you a copy for your own use. SoundsMp3 does not grant a blanket licence over the catalogue, and it does not represent that every item is royalty-free or cleared for commercial reuse.

Unless a specific item states otherwise, you may listen to and use downloads for personal, non-commercial purposes. Before using any item in a commercial project, an advertisement, a broadcast, a monetised video, a product or a wider distribution, it is your responsibility to obtain whatever permission or licence the rights holder requires.

You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute downloads as standalone files, and you may not imply that SoundsMp3 endorses your use of an item.

In addition to the restrictions set out above, the following are prohibited:

• using the service for any unlawful purpose;
• infringing, or encouraging others to infringe, copyright, trademark or other rights;
• abusing the service, including deliberate interference with other visitors;
• introducing malware, or attempting to gain unauthorised access to systems or data;
• scraping or crawling the website in breach of applicable restrictions or of terms published by the site operator;
• circumventing security controls, rate limits or technical protection measures;
• submitting false or misleading reports, including false infringement notices;
• automated or bulk use of the service that degrades availability for other visitors.

The website contains links to, and loads assets from, third-party services, including font providers, a JavaScript library hosted on a public CDN, social sharing platforms, and external audio archives.

These services operate independently of SoundsMp3. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies, which we recommend reviewing first.

SoundsMp3 may add, modify or withdraw features; update, replace or remove content; change the way the website works; and suspend parts of the service temporarily for maintenance, security or operational reasons. Access may also be limited where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the service or to comply with law.

We do not promise that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available, and features may differ by region, device or browser.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the website will be free from errors, that any particular item will remain available, or that the service will meet a specific need.

Subject to applicable law, and to the extent permitted by it, SoundsMp3 and those involved in operating the website are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or any linked content.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of SoundsMp3 for claims relating to the website is limited to the amount you actually paid to use the website, which is currently nil.

These limitations apply regardless of the legal basis of the claim, and even where we were aware of the possibility of the loss. They do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or where the law of your country gives consumers greater rights.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised version is published on this page, and the "Last updated" date shown above indicates when it changed. Continuing to use the website after a revision means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not accept them, please stop using the website.
